Poetry Slam
Year Three celebrated National Poetry Day (8th October) in style. Year Three were invited to join many other schools across the country in a web presentation. Both classes watched John Hegley as he presented many of his famous poems.
The classroom was filled with laughter as the he shared poems such as “Me and My Dog is a Carrot”. Chloe Handson was lucky enough to ask a question live to the poet.
A great morning was had by all and we can’t wait for next year.
